Sometimes part of the problem is that HSPs tend to be unassuming, and find it difficult to ask for what they truly need and want-- they often feel torn between .
Perhaps the best piece of advice out there is to be patient. What I mean by that isn't that we need to wait forever, but that we stay mindful of Elaine Aron's caution that HSPs tend to get emtionally involved very quickly, and very deeply.
